Who we are Foss Dyke is a traditional English Brass Band, based in Lincoln, with its roots dating back to 1974 when it commenced life as a local village band. It has subsequently grown in stature and in the quality of its performance and activities rapidly established itself as "Lincolnshire's Premier Brass Band" as a result of its success in contesting against other bands at a regional and national level. What we do Foss Dyke Band has an excellent profile from it's contesting activities against other bands and competes 3 or 4 times a year with a good deal of success. In addition it has a full programme of regular engagements including Last Night of the Proms concerts; entertaining the crowds at the RAF Waddington International Airshow; and playing for BBC Radio. Foss Dyke Band compete in the 1st Section of the National Brass Band Association Championships.
